Raeven DuckettRaeven Duckett is a cannabis equity activist and business leader within the industry. Duckett co-founded Community Gardens, a cannabis delivery and distribution company based in Oakland, California. Community Gardens was the first equity team to receive a license from the State of California for adult use sales of cannabis, based on their participation in the revolutionary city of Oakland Cannabis Equity program. Duckett believes in the medicinal benefits of the cannabis plant and works within the community to educate on and normalize cannabis. 

In the fall of 2019 Community Gardens was accepted into Momentum, a cannabis business accelerator powered by Eaze, UltraNative, and Bail Capital. During this program Duckett developed and launched the cannabis delivery reservation software, MAE. MAE is an artificial intelligence chat bot that guides customers through the cannabis purchase process all via sms (text) messaging. 

Duckett is also a strong proponent for equity within the cannabis industry and a leader within key activist groups. She is on the board of Supernova Women, an organization founded with the mission to foster community empowerment through holistic education, advocacy training and networking. Supernova Women fosters a safe space for hard conversations, and will amplify the messages of our constituents at the local, state, and national level. Previously she worked with Green Huddle - a free five series workshop for equity applicants to learn about local equity laws as well as put together the necessary materials needed to apply for a cannabis license in the city of Oakland.
