Isamarie Perez - Principal, Perez Strategy, LLC, Supernova Women Board Member (Moderator)
Isamarie Perez is a recovering techie who loves cannabis and decided to make a career out of it. She is the founder of Perez Strategy LLC, a firm focused on launching and scaling cannabis startups, brands, and retail operations. She also serves as board member of Supernova Women, a non-profit empowering women of color to become self-sufficient shareholders in the evolving cannabis economy.
She started her career in the on-demand tech space with Lyft, and in 2014 pivoted to the newly emerging cannabis tech scene as Head of Business Development and Operations at Meadow, YCombinator's first cannabis startup. There she launched Meadow's POS platform in hundreds of cannabis retail stores and delivery businesses across California and worked with the largest B2B and B2C industry events in the world.

Amber E Senter - CEO, Breeze Distro and Shady Pines Box Club, Co-Founder and Chair of the Board, Supernova Women
Amber E. Senter has over twenty years of marketing and project management experience. She is founder and CEO of Breeze Distro, an infused cannabis products and distribution company, and heads product development and marketing for the brand. She is also founder and CEO of Shady Pines Box Club, a cannabis subscription box service. She is also co-founder and Chair of the Board of Supernova Women. Formed in 2015, this advocacy organization is dedicated to empowering people of color to become self-sufficient cannabis industry shareholders.
Amber is a US Coast Guard Veteran and has held many leadership roles in the cannabis industry. As the former Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Magnolia Wellness, her primary responsibility was to create and implement procedures to improve sales and increase profitability. While at Magnolia Amber obtained Oakland’s only onsite consumption permit for the dispensary. Her voice is trusted in the growing cannabis industry, as is her unsurpassed knowledge of the end medical and recreational user base. Amber is a sought after coach and mentor, and a role model for new marijuana business entrepreneurs.
Bryant Mitchell - CEO and Founder, Blaqstar
Bryant Mitchell is Blaqstar’s founder and CEO. He has over 10 years of hands-on management experience in the cannabis industry. In 2013 he established Blaqstar Farms after owning a Los Angeles dispensary where he realized the need for consistent, clean medicinal cannabis. Having learned the outdoor craft while working in Sonoma and with guidance from growers with decades of experience, Bryant built a foundation on growing clean, high quality medicinal cannabis.
Before entering the cannabis industry, he spent sixteen years in business consulting, project management, process design, and operations efficiency services for IBM Strategy, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, and Accenture PLC. In those roles, he advised the world’s largest companies, primarily in the oil and gas industry.
While working as a consultant, he founded as a passion project the Mosaic Bar & Lounge in Houston, Texas, where gained more than four years of compliant retail experience in a regulated industry. Mr. Mitchell holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in business from Prairie View A&M University, a historically black university. Mr. Mitchell currently sits as an active board member of NDICA (National Diversity and Inclusion Cannabis Alliance) and holds an associate membership on the CMA (Cannabis Minority Alliance).
